Rotors replaced under warranty - Did they replace pads as well?

My dealer called to tell me that my new rotors (2011 style) were in for my warranty repair.  I asked him if they were also covering the pads, and he did not understand why I would ask.  I pointed out to him that the pads on a 2010 and 2011 are different from the 2009 pads on my bike.  He is contacting Kawasaki for me.  Meanwhile, I was just wondering if anyone here had any experience they could offer up.  My Warranty thread shows that at least 5 or 6 members have had rotors replaced, so I hope to hear how that went for them.

I mentioned this on another post , but here it is .They did the rotors for free under the extended warranty -no charge at all . But they then called and tried to sell me new pads -although the pads were nearly new ,

My .02, pads are not covered by the warranty as they are a regular wear item, kinda like tires.  I wouldnt reuse pads, didnt when I replaced my wore out rotors (which came in wrong, which I noticed after I removed the old, didnt mark left or right so I installed the old rotors and new pads, which I again replaced when I got in the correct rotors).  If your'e interested, I like the EBC HHs the best out of the stockers, Carbonne Lorraines, and Galfers.

Got my left rotor replaced under warranty, but replaced the pads myself the next week with EBC HH. Great improvement and no issues for 15k miles or so and counting after replacement.

Had both of mine replaced, the pads had 3k on them and they didn't even ask.  Stops great!
