Looks like Honda is finally letting the US have the VFR. Hummmm....may have to re-think a potential new ride??? I didn't care for the vfr1200 but I really liked my 03 vfr800

I found my 06 VFR to be uncomfortable, even with a Sargent seat, helibars and a larger windscreen. I don't think this new one will come close to your Ninja 1K in terms of performanceYeah def not. My N1K flat out screams. With the mods I've done it's around 140hp, & this new VFR is prob right around 105-110, & weights a little bit more too. It's still enough HP to be fun. I don't have to have all out max HP to enjoy riding.

I really like the V4 Honda uses in this new VFR which is revised version of my '03. I read they increased the torque & smoothed the transition of the v-tech. I'm not a huge fan of the v-tech but I learned to live with it. I'm still tossing the idea around of buying one??? This would have to be a 3rd bike, cuz I love my N1K & C14, & not sure if I can convince my wife I need a 3rd bike when I'm still making payments on the N1K
Owning 6 Mavericks is NOT the same thing.I figured folks would hone in on that comment. LOL! The maverick did make a recent list of cars to collect now while the price is low.
The price for Beanie Babies is low too.......and why would you know that? At least my information came from a car magazine.
3 sport bikes? Why not venture out of the box a little. There are so many different rides out there. A buddy of mine has a ZZR600, ZRX1200, and the latest rendition of the ZX10R. He barely rides the ZX10R. More for bragging rights I guess. Not knocking your choices, just don't understand them. Kinda like my BIL who owns 3 Harleys, or my neighbor who owns 6 Mavericks.True. There are lot of dif bikes out there, but we all like different things. I wouldn't expect you or anyone else on this forum to like/want the same bikes as myself. Im not saying I only like or will ride a certain kind of bike. Hell if its got two wheels, i wanna ride it. Ive riddin/demo'd many dif bikes over the years, and didnt hate any of them. With that being said...I have been giving some thought to the adventure style bikes. The KTM 1190 adventure was speaking to me at the bike show this past weekend The new V-Strom 1000 was looking good too.
'69 to '77. I preferred the look of the Mercury Comet sister car to the Maverick.Oh ok, didn't know that. I was born in the seventies, so I missed the whole muscle car era
The "Grabber" was the Muscle car version of the Maverick. The Comet GT for Mercury.
If I could only own one bike it would probably be an adventure touring bike. Seems to be the best compromise bike that can handle a little of all riding styles.
