Woohoo - ready for the Fall & Winter!
« on: September 04, 2013, 06:49:39 PM »

I bought a brand new Stich one piece last Fall and didn't want to wait to have it altered to fit me (ie shortened...) so I wore it through last winter season and shipped it off to them in mid-June to have it altered, it finally arrived back to me today, just under 10 weeks but oh well I don't use it in the summer anyways. The alteration is top notch perfect, fits great now and can't even see where they cut or replaced panels!

Bring on the cold and wet!!  :)

rode with a guy last weekend that had a Stitch he wears year round. Every stop he was in and out of that thing in 30 secs or less. Impressive.

What is more impressive in that pic is the filing system behind that suit.

Indeed JM, with my Gerbings heated gear under this stich I am nice and toasty no matter what the temps!

Nope CB, no wet crotch at all for me with this suit!

I'm a 28 inseam C, much like yourself.  :)

I think the way the suit is hanging in that pic the front flap is covering how high the legs go and hides the crotch area of the suit.

FWIW, you want the crotch on these one piece suits to hang low when standing, that way when yer sitting on the bike you don't get camel toe.

Nope, arms aren't overly short CD, proportion to my body I'd say, and no I don't have stock bars.  :)

Yep, agreed FB! That's why I bought this suit, the neck to ankle one zipper makes it very fast to put on and take off!

As for the filing system thanks, that's how I keep track of 3 and a half sets of ZG bodywork, 1 means original set, 2 means 2nd set of spares, and 3 etc, all labeled accordingly with box contents too...  ;D ;D

I been singing the praises of the Stich for 10 years now... best spent bike money I ever dished out...
I do prefer the 2 piecer tho, as I wear it year round, and the 2 piecer offers much more venting options, simply because you can unzip the top to bottom connection on the rear if you desire. Plus it makes it easier to wash correctly, and doest jack up the machine....or the suit.
hope I can get ten more years out of it....

I'll also comment that doing the zipper coating (on the zipper fabric parts) makes a world of difference... no wet crotch.... do it when it's new, and again in 8 years.... dummy me i waited years before doing it, and feel dumber for that. After a couple washings, do the fabric treatment also, it restores the outer finish that takes a beating, to like new water shedding ability.
I used the Granger wash, and wash in repellant, used 2 cans for super duty...
next time I'll use 1 can, but add in the Granger spray on stuff while its still wet, and then dry the suit...

46 YEARS OF KAW.....  47 years of DEVO..
