What's the Best Investment you've made for riding

What's the Best Investment you've made for riding?  Not including you Concours...

Best riding investment AEROSTICH Two Piece!

I would say that so far I have (4) things I would not want to give up
(1) Aerostich two piece suit
(2) Sena SMH-10
(3) Russell Day Long Seat
(4) Bar Riser from Murph

I just got my XL Cal Sci installed, so far I really like it too...

Until this morning I would have said my Icon boots. But after having to commute the whole hour in a steady rain I would say my rain gear.

Beaded seat to also prevent monkey butt
and
Jensen radio and speakers.  Not sure how I rode either tune free or with annoying ear peices.

I'd have to say going from the stockers to the PR2's. After that I'd say the Tech Spec pads.

AWEYEAH!  I made that.  Good choice.   :)

I don't have a Connie, but mine are:

HJC CL-14 (Fuse, red) helmet, I've had it over 5 years and there are still no problems with it.
Fieldsheer Mach 8 red/white/black.
Joe Rocket sip up and velco boots, lasted over 5 years as well.
AXO KK4R Race gloves, they're so comfortable.
My knock off Trogg Toggs from Sam's Club, saved my ass on that one trip...

Past: XR650R, 250 Ninjette.
Present: None...
Next: C-14, '08-09 Speed Triple, and/or Sprint GT.

Arai Profile, wins hands down. Yes I had helmets before this, but with my misshaped head, I was not happy until I bought my Arai.

My wife's Can-Am Spyder SE5.  Since we bought it, I virtually NEVER have a passenger.  Plus, she doesn't spend all of her time looking at the back of my helmet, so it's a win-win!  Without the Spyder, I'd still be riding my old Valkyrie and would never have gotten the C14.  Definately the best thing so far.

I know we're on the "other" site, but no one's said "COG membership"?   ;D

This is kind of a tough question.  Various things I have bought and installed on the bike make riding better in some situations, but not in others.

When riding with my dad:  My Yaesu FTM-10R ham radio.
When riding on the slab:  Audiovox cruise control
When riding for more than an hour:  KneeSavers, risers, and Alaska Leather Sheepskin Buttpad
When riding in general:  Noise-isolating earbuds and an MP3 Player

Heated grips, can't believe I rode without them for 25 years...
