So I've been tasked with asking you all about where we should go this summer on a nice scenic two up ride. She wants to do a four day ride, but if its cool enough I can stretch that out. My suggestion was Virginia City, NV. I also suggested Klamath Falls, OR. We like quaint little towns like that were we can walk around and look at small shops. We like wine tasting, which is why we like Murphys, CA so much. So what is 500 miles from SF? Reno, Vegas, Mt Shasta, LA, Tahoe. Those are pretty much out since she has no interest. Plus it will be summer so no deserts. I overruled Disneyland due to the crouds in the heat. I suggested Solvang, but she keeps saying we may as well go to Disneyland. I think just a ride down the coast stopping wherever would be nice. We usually ride up to Portland so we are very familiar with that ride. What destinations are we missing?
