Rear tire on the Front ??
« on: May 21, 2013, 05:39:34 AM »
I ordered had a BT45 rear tires the size that I needed for the front. I did not know it was a rear until I had it mounted and now the store that I ordered my "front" tire from is saying that it make no difference on where it goes. From what I understand this is a big no, no ?? I did order thr front, different store, but is he right?

The old rule is if a R is mounted on the front you reverse the direction of rotation. This is due to the way the tire carcass is meade.
If you have a front on the way, use it. I assume the two are different sizes, no?
