I reported on this previously - it happened again during our recent 4600 mile trip. The left lower quadrant of the display got stuck in the Kawasaki logo phase. (The two upper quadrants and the right lower quardrants were normal) This time I discovered that the problem would not go away until the FOB was moved out of range. So I beleive the malfunction has something to do with a fob/kipass communication error.
I am aware of only one other report of a similar malfunction and I believe that person ended up replacing his panel.
