Title: AFTER ALL IS NOT A BAD IDEA (PART III)
Post by: JhVenezuela on December 12, 2016, 09:33:43 AM
Replacing the Oil Pan from my 2008 connie with a 2010 model
avoid the torture of hit the speed bump.
Here in my country there are speed bump anywhere,
most of them, in the middle of the road without any warning.

Since I have not checked into it but have heard of others doing the swap before, and since you just did it, how much work is it?

I have an oil change coming up and it always feels like the plug is going to strip for some reason, even if I use a torque wrench at the suggested settings, so I was wondering.

It's a easy work, but you have to remove the exhaust.
I loosen the radiator and remove the electric fan, just to have more space.
I began at 6:00 and the bike was ready for lunch.
