Try putting the original  coils back on
If you still have fuel in the tank, you are not lost yet
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle

If you had coils, I'd say you had a bad one.   I'm not sure how the stick coils work.

Please provide some more clear details on where you got those voltage readings. From the sounds of what you've stated I don't think it is the stick coils but in fact it sounds like a loose connection or an igniter.

It was running fine before you made the pickup adjustment, right? That is the only thing in the ignition system you touched...unless you accidentally unplugged something. If everything is connected properly I would say the pickup adjustment is the problem....unless when you tweaked it ya broke it.

I agree with Cholla in a sense: I believe the pickups send a ground though. The 12V should (IIRC) be a constant from the igniter, as T Cro pointed out. I don't remember a connector between of the igniter and the coils, but I agree, check it out, because it has been a LONG time since I looked at this.

I have a spare igniter or two if you need one to try out (and maybe purchase, not sure why I have 2).
