Ok, it's a long story.

I owne a Vstrom DL-650, i put a Ohlins shock before and the bike change drastically
Improve 1000%. Very smooth, better grip, fanstastic recover on twisty road, stability
Sincerilecly, look like other bike !!!

Then, i bought the shock and the spring for my connie.

IMO the spring work great, principally when apply the front brake before a bend, the bike
recover the balance immediately.

But, the shock was other story.

After installed the shock, I felt the bike hard. I began to change the damping and rebound adjust but
the bike does not improve as i thought.

Then, one day the preload adjuster begin leak. I removed the shock, send it to Kyle racing and
replace the rear spring for other softer. I installed the shock again and felt the bike better but after
a week the adjuster preload leak again.

At this moment  i am riding the bike without any preload adjust.

Thanks for sharing.

You have just the Ohlins Spring in your forks or the whole Cartridge Kit ??  Is it a DIY Kit that you can install at home or you have to ship the forks to them for installation ??

For the Shock, is it a proper Ohlins one for Connie 2010 or the one for 2008-2009 modified ??  I remember in the old forum there were a few threads on this but i cannot scroll back.

Just the springs, not the catridge.

I bought the shock for my 2008 connie.
I don't remember that anybody had the the problem that i had.
At least nobody mention it at the other forum.
