EBC rotor difference

Well it's cime time to replace the front pads and rotors on the 2011.  The front rotors are grooved pretty good and have had 3 sets of pads on them (1 OEM and 2 EBC HH).  Looking at replacing the rotors with the EBC rotors.  I'm looking at the contour rotors and the vee series.  Besides looks is there any difference between them?

IIRC, the vee rotors come in a variety of colors, if that matters. I got gold for my blue bike, 'cause they were the lowest price option at the time. At least they match my front wheel side reflectors. Got no clue as to differences other than that.
