First, the re-use of names. It costs a bunch of money to copyright a name. Lots of research and investigation have to be done to make sure that the name you want to use is not a chain of whore-houses in one of your major markets. And of course, you have to make sure nobody already has the name copyrighted. So if you have a perfectly good name, and you aren't using it any more, why not dust it off and re-use it? (As for me, I think that the C14 is different enough from the Concours to rate a new name, so we are living that philosophy right here.). Ford Ranger was a model of F series pickup first, and so was Explorer. How many Chevy Malibu's have we had so far?
Now about the bike itself. Honda is NOT trying to convert anyone riding a real motorcycle to their new Integra. They're going for the people who really would rather have the ease and simplicity of a scooter, but are too vain or insecure to be seen riding a Vespa. For that crowd, it will probably be a hit.
