Gas tank cover - glove box removal

I have an '08 and I want to replace the glove box with a cover of some type. I will be installing a tank bag so the box will be more useless than it is now. Does anyone have a lead on where to find a cover?

I use a magnetic tank bag....Marsee, I think. Goes over top of it. I don't use it all the time. In fact, I use the glove box more than the tank bag.

Morning, just thinking. I have a mag tank bag also, and the fwd magnet sits right over the gbox. Might fasten a steel plate on the cover for the fwd magnet. Painted black of course. What's your thoughts. Thanks, G.

Mine's never come loose and I've road with it across the US and back. Unless you have very weak magnets, I wouldn't bother.

Yep. No good has really come from thinking on things too much. If you start doing that again, just have a beer.
