One of my first COG friends... Mongo

It is with deep sadness that I share the news that we have lost one of my first COG friends. He has not posted in quite some time, but he was a motorcyclist and dear friend like no other.
Those that do not remember him as Mongo, may remember him as Patrick. He also owned the infamous "SquidBait".
He could make me laugh like no one other than my husband can and now he is responsible for a tear for each of those laughs. Please keep his son and daughter in your prayers. The world is a better place because he was here.

Thank you my friend. He was too young and too goodhearted to be gone so soon.

Refresh my memory, could I have met him at any of the rides I saw you at?

He was at the Moonshine Lunch Run in 2004 (I think). It was the 3rd or 4th year they had it. Let's see, I think we rode through hail, a tornado and rain to get there that year. LOL
When we met him he had on a t-shirt that said "Winning the war against anorexia". He was a hefty fella....

I guess it took a large container to hold all of that humor and compassion.

Does not ring a bell, I think I'd remember someone like that. We come in all different styles, sizes, shades, and opinions, but we are all one big COG family.

Now that I think about it, that run was more like 2006 or 2007. Dang the years are spinnin' now.....
