Police Trunk
« on: February 23, 2012, 07:31:22 PM »
I called Kawasaki authority sales , they put the police bikes together 208 292 4430
I asked about getting a Police trunk, they are made of aluminum  they said $ 750.
Has anyone bought one or know anything about them? They said you have to cut the rear rack to install? I have a Corbin seat and that is what they use with the trunk.

I think I have a few picture of them.  There should be photos in the police bike thread. A local agency has C14 and their trunk is much nicer than the R1200RTP. Not a suitcase but it does hold a little.

You could also try Probity Cycle:  http://www.probitycycleparts.com/id34.html

They also do LEO conversions and before the board crashed they were considering making the radio boxes available to the public. Let us know how that works out, because I could be interested.
