The engine, not the car, is what I'm calling 'cute'. Apparently it even fits in carry on luggage, although I don't know what the NTSA thinks about transporting engines in the passenger cabin...
http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=29229Of course, our older Connies also have 1.0L engines (997 cc to be exact), although the new Ford engine is apparently rated at 123 HP and 148 lb.-ft of torque at a mere 1400 RPM...
The 1.6L Duratorq EDCi Euro Diesel variant engine would be the one I would want, though (assuming I would even want a Fiesta in the first place, I'm more of a truck/land yacht kinda guy)... that particular version of the Fiesta is rated at 65 MPG(!), but thanks to EPA regs it won't pass current U.S. Emission standards as I understand.
