28, got it 3 years ago when I was 25. I'm sure the salesman was a bit confused by my preference. The big touring bikes have always appealed to me, since I like to ride distance, and still have fun in the canyons/mountains.
Same here. I bought my C10 as a 25th birthday present for myself. Picked up up the day after my birthday and spent the entire weekend riding it!
Not too many of us young guys ride bikes like this. I'm thinking it's part economic (considering that most of the kids I graduated high school with still live with mommy and daddy, or are on their own but not really "upwardly mobile" so to speak) and also part image: guys see me on the 10 or the 14, and automatically assume I'm some old guy. Has kept me from a few performance awards, to say the least!
Having ridden more than 20 different bikes over the past 5 years, 3 of which were my own, there's nothing else that does it for me, quite like a Connie, old or new.
