No luck on the forum, on the web, in the parts fiche, or in the manual. Does anyone know offhand?

Thinking about adding a digital temp gauge.

Paranoid wondering if a rock jams up a fan, otherwise you know very well the cooling systems on these bikes are 'rock' solid.

Thinking about adding a digital temp gauge.

Just drill and tap the hose...that will work won't it?...lol. Make sure you do it when the bike is cool though...lol.

Seriously...
I don't know the size, but it's around 1" or 25mm.

You thinking of installing a tee fitting in the hose?

I'd install it in the big hose on the right hand side of the engine, somewhere convenient between the engine and the rad...this will give you the most accurate temp imho.

Good luck. I'd like to see how this is set up. I think it's a great idea.

Cool beans, I like it.

You could measure the hose OD, and then subtract the wall thickness (twice of course).
Wall thickness would be 3/16"-ish...?

Not sure what all you got stuffed in under the right side top black side cover, but pretty sure you could reach down thru there, and mic' the fitting on the radiator...that would be the male diameter you seek... ;)
