2010 C-14 ABS
« on: August 22, 2011, 11:53:57 AM »
This has been a very hard decision.  I feel like I've found the perfect bike for me, done everything to it I wanted to and now I'm selling it.  Between some financial concerns and my lack of time to ride it I just don't have the choice.  I used to put some high miles on my bikes and I've had this one a year and I've barely ridden it.  Three good rides and the rest was commuting.  So here goes:

-5000 miles (and I doubt it'll go up much, if at all)
-Two windshields (stock and Cal-Sci XL)
-Heli-bar risers with RAM mount and Powerlet socket
-Stock power plug converted to Powerlet socket
-Galfer braided brake and clutch lines
-fender extender (extra long version)
-Tankslapper protection kit
-Sargent heated seat
-Two Brothers slip-on with quiet insert
-Power Commander V with FuelMoto map
-BMC air filter
-Flies removed
-Projekt D fender eliminator
-HyperLites auxiliary brake lights
-Shad 46-liter top case
-Phil’s rack
-Murph’s shifter bearings
-Murph’s lowered pegs
-Relfective decals on hard bags
-Hardbag retainer brackets
-G2 Throttle Tamer
-oil changed at 4000 miles
-have all the stock parts I removed
-remainder of warranty
-oil just changed with synthetic

There's a bad scratch on top of the left side saddlebag from a pair of boots I own.  I used some polishing compound on it and it made it better, but still noticeable.  Someone with a buffer and polishing compound might be able to make it go away.  It'll definitely take a machine to do anything with it.  The rest of the bike is perfect.  I'm anal about keeping it clean.  It's always covered in my garage with a Battery Tender on it.

I'm looking to get $11000 for it.  That's $400 below Blue Book.  I tried to look on Cycle Trader to see what they were actually going for, but I couldn't find any.  Personally, I think the bike's well worth the asking price.  Pretty much all the normal farkles are on it and I've really taken my time to do things right.

I'll post some pictures when I get home.  I'm in the Metro DC area.

I can vouch for the cleanliness of this bike.  It looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.  GLWS!

Picture of scratches on top of saddlebag.  Of course the flash makes it look worse.  After really looking at it, I'm fairly certain an electric buffer could get them out.

It's on Cycletrader and Craigslist.  I've gotten a few nibbles, but nothing solid.
