Title: 1991 C10 for Sale, Raleigh, North Carolina
Post by: Fuller56 on December 03, 2023, 06:33:46 AM
For Sale, 1991 C10 in Garner, NC. 31,250 miles and has been in dry storage in a facility for at least 7 years.  Carburetors were cleaned prior to storage and not fueled since. Tank has been POR-15 lined. Classic fairing break at the right turn signal mirror mount. The mirrors and mounts are fine. It has a title but it is in the name of a now defunct business. Not mine, trying to help a friend make room so he can buy a bike of mine. Seeking offers as he has not set a price.  Contact me at NYNMNC@gmail.com.

Another photo.  And it has a Corbin seat and the vanity panels.  The intact bags and antlers are available with further negotiation.

Looks nice and a low mileage bike. Title issue is a little sticky.

Do you guys know the procedure in North Carolina to transfer title from business owner to personal? Usually there is paperwork for these kinds of things even if it’s a defunct business. An easier way to transfer title would probably be abandoned vehicle titling. Most states have something like that and the owner can re-title it in his name because the  notices would go out to the closed business, and there would be no response.

I am not all that fluent in NC titles other than them needing to be notarized to transfer.  I suspect this one could be fixed but cannot positively say so.  That is why I mentioned it.
