I also have the 2 piece Corbin, and it works for me too.I'd remarked in the Intros section about an ongoing conversion project with my 2012. It's going to be turned into something resembling the bike shown here (same top box, seat, rear guards, etc.). Should the Corbin prove to be a little too hard for longer trips I'll put an Air Hawk or my gel pad on it. (The Valkyrie Interstate in my intro thread has a Corbin Dual on it, and that seat gets a gel cover for very long rides. It's a little too low for me otherwise.)
I can do 200 miles, stretch my legs after filling up, then do another 200 before my butt starts screaming for pain relief.
Way better than the 50 miles I could do on the OEM saddle.
One day I may buy a Russell Daylong to match the one on my C10, but since I am not currently doing longer rides, it's a lot of money.
Hey that looks good. Where did that top box come from? That's a police box. From one of the "local" conversions.
Had my Corban 9 years now no complaintsHey! Can I ask what your windscreen setup is? Looks good!
