Thanks George - another blast from the past! I was wondering where the 4mm over the gasket surface dimension came from, it appears it was something MOB recalled from the mik's.
Just a heads up to those wanting to do this mod - 4mm's isn't enough. The fuel will slosh over the vent and you'll get drainage. when I followed up on developing the overflow tubes, I realised that the air correction jet orifice is 10mm above the fuel level, so the proper height for the overflow tubes should be 8mm.
