after resurrecting my connie from her 5 year slumber last june, (iowa here) I rode every month of the year since june.
not every day, but at least once every month.
Granted, layers and thinking warm thoughts will only get one so far in the winter before one taps out and says "no mas!"

Nice!
Bike was originally a battle-ship grey in color, and being as how I live and ride near/in an area with multiple major interstate highways, I wanted a more vibrant color.
Being a working stiff with a wife and kids, rattle-can rustoleum florescant green was the choice for me!

Sounds like you won't be using it for direct cooking but it will get hot enough to gas off though or possibly melt as George has suggested.  If it were me, I wouldn't use it.  I have seen non-Aluminum 'grid' material for sale in hw stores and I have used that as a base for my chimenea when the original grid burned out.

The steel charcoal pan on my Okalahoma Joes Table Top grill is rusting out. A replacement is 50 bucks. I am planning to repair the pan with some aluminum plate I have on hand. Is there any health hazard involved with cooking with an aluminum charcoal pan?

I know this is an odd question for a motorcycle forum but a lot of you guys seem to know about everything. And I don't really want to join a grill forum.  ???

I have friends who have or have had BMW motorcycles and their phrase was
"You know why it's called a K bike? Because every time you need a service it's $1K."

Don't get me wrong, they love their bikes and ride the hell out of them.
