Sorry, I can't find the link to (Fred's?) photo series showing where to dig out the power/ground leads on the front left. I am having trouble figuring out how you even get to that boot covering the wires...I can just barely get my hands in there to pull the boot up, and when I do, all I can see are a bundle of apparently connected wires. No open-ended leads. Is it necessary to remove the glove/box and fairings on that side? I have a 2011 C14.

Yes, thanks! Can someone explain to me how you dig out the front ACC leads on a 2011 C14? Fred's notes say "where the glove box would be if it had one", but that's exactly where the 10/11's have a glove box.

That's because Fred's instructions is for the 08 & 09 that do not have a glove box.

Remove glove box and you will see black boot. It is below and in front of the glove box.

Given that I am a petite and not strong, I asked my boyfriend to roll back the boot and expose the leads. Only took him an hour and complete exhaustion.........meaning that you need to apply some strength to roll back the boot to expose the acc leads.

Conrad, thanks for the link.
This ones for you :chugbeer:....

I'm powering my radio and thought I remember reading there was a hook up under the left panel.
Would I be wrong in asuming the wire with the yellow stripe is positive.?
   thanks, Sam.
