For Trade Delkevic 17" Tri Oval for a 13" trioval

Hi all.  A long shot, but you never know. 

I have a delkevic Stainless 17" trioval on my C14.  Maybe 3K miles on it.  In about as good of condition as a used pipe can be. 

Looking to trade for a 13" trioval Delkevic pipe stainless or carbon.  Excellent condition only please.

Reason, had a 13" on my C10 and liked the sound / slightly greater volume better.  17" with no baffle on my C14 sounds great when you jump on it, but a little too quiet for me at idle.  What can I say, rock n roll ears - can't hear that well anyway.  What didya say?  Eh??? 

If yours is in excellent shape too, and you want a longer one (easy fellas) let me know.  I imagine keep our own harware and pipes and just ship out the actual mufflers.

Pilgrim, I wouldn't really consider selling as I need a pipe and like this one.  Just thinking there might be just the right person for a trade - long shot for sure.

I was looking at it from the view point that you may not find someone to trade with.

Just go buy the 13", it is what you want.    I'll bet you'd have no problem selling the 17".

Ah Pilgrim - I understand.  Thanks, and great idea.  Unfortunately my wife has the "not another dollar on the exhaust" refrain running in her mind.

angelo, it sounds like you didn't start high enough. To the wife.... "Honey, if you think $1200 for the Area P full system is to much I will settle for the $250 slip-on just for you."

El gPink-o, I'm 50, she's mumble mumble, got together when 19 at school.  Man, she has heard every line dealing with motorcycles and guitars there is!

At least she stopped asking, "What's wrong with the one it has (stock)?" around 1990 or so.

'Guess what?'   Amazingly she guesses correctly every time..  Done this with a car and the bike.  Married since '77.
