The new 2012 Yamaha Super Tenere looks really interesting, so much so that I ordered one, it should be here in August.
Nobody seems to make exactly what I would like.550 cc, shaft drive, six speeds, 500 lb., sport touring comfort, fairing and riding position. The Deauville comes close, but pricey and only 5 speeds.1000 cc is already too much for me, although it does make for relaxed engine speeds.
NS7 as in out of an NSX? You ricer...
Nope...... LS7 as in Corvette Z06. The NSX used the C30A or the C32B, but who is counting anyway....... Just a little backround on the bike: Pratt and Miller (the same guys that work on the C6 race program) have consulted and helped engineer the motor. Those guys know their stuff!
Other than an aluminum V motor, I'm curious as to what was used in the design of the Motus from an LS7 motor. Thats the first I had heard.
Honda made it. The Pacific Coast.
