Talked to my dealer and I am looking at close to $500 for 2 sensors and labor. Yikes! If u remove the sensors will it get rid of the warning message. My bike is a 2008.So why new sensors 'Mike? Just need batteries?... or did someone damage them for you changing tires?
Thanks

If you buy them on e-bay you might not get the warranty, the factory unit has a 5 year warranty on the battery.

Wow that illustrates just how simple it is, thanks for the post. Bookmarked.
Shows "pop it open, desoldier old batter, soldier in new" from what i saw. Doesn't appear difficult nor hard to find battery. And if the battery is bad, I don't have much to lose trying.
Although I am going to talk to my friends at warranty before my 3 years is up and see if Kawi will hook me up
Pictures are DIY info, I didn't say it was step by step instructions.
