Thanks for the good wishes, guys.
One nice aspect of this is that we have some free physical therapy sessions available here at work that I've signed up for, so I get my leg massaged by this really nice young lady...
Yes, it's sore here... and here...
Conrad: great, then maybe we'll run into each other some day soon...
ManWorkinghere: actually it was the Culvers at Milton. It's a nice place, and slightly famous for being the world's largest Culvers. I don't hold them accountable for my bad judgment, though :-) Actually, on the occasions I need to cage it home I stop in there for a chocolate concrete malt which, if I take it through a straw as it melts, I can make last up to the Portage exit north of Madison !
Dave N: same as Conrad, eh? Sounds like we have the makings of a spring ride coming together :-)
Yes, it is a helluva commute, but I've managed to put over 20,000 miles on my trusty machine in a little over a year. I've had a fun re-entry back into the world of motorcycling, and I've learn skills quickly, and become very familiar with my Concours; I can quickly sense when things aren't quite right. I've also learned my limits
and learned to deal with weather, night driving, and fatigue.
Scaffolder: thanks. Yeah, I do feel I got off pretty lightly with only $850 to fix it back up. That has delayed spending on farkles, however: I'm trying to get around to SISF's cam kit, but other things keep getting in the way.
