George - if I read it right, I can still use the original hoses? Is it a simple swap over then?  I need to visit Cambridge...don't I? ;D

I have just learnt a tubular handlebar adapter was made for the GPZ900 and fits the ZG1000. See the link below:

That's the LSL adapter. Dunno if that is still available. I know that the Storz adapter is.
I'm in Wickford, near Basildon so a bit farther than Cambridge for you John.
However, if you want it I can ship it to you.

Yes you can use the original hoses but that depends on which handlebar you use with the adapter.
The bar I have for it is a nearly flat MX bar.

I'll wait for a while before I do that George. Its going into the shop to sort the carbs out first. Theres a definite glitch that needs looking at.  The new brake pads are marginally better...ho hum
