:(  :(  :(

At least you know when you are going to be off and for how long.  This semi retired retail work has my hours and days change every week.  Never the same.  I believe they do it on purpose, just to screw with us underlings... ;D

Retail work? As in working with the public?   :o

My condolences...

Yep, The Home Depot, to be exact. Most customers are fun to work with, but I have been blamed for their lack of knowledge, and cussed at a few times by mainly guys, unhappy with life.  FWIW, don't ever let your ex get the 28 years of retirement money saved, or you will be working at THD to eat, too. :D

Agree... Haven't been screamed at, at home that is, or belittled, or struck, or threatened in ten years now.  It WAS worth it. My ex was/is a CRUEL PERSON, and that's a fact.

If it doesn't rain this PM, I may actually get to go for a ride... tp

Because of our PC world today, hurricanes now have male and female names.  The last one that kicked the crap out of us was named IKE.  Funny, but the only "Ike" I can ever remember was a former president of the United States, Dwight David Eisenhower.  But as the similarities with women, about how they arrive and leave, is soooooo true.

FWIW, had my debit card info stolen, and someone spent $1000 on the internet, before BOA caught it.  They took care of the loss, but I got to ride the Connie to the bank to get a replacement card, and then it rained...  Work today, and yes, more rain in store.  A great day to all.  tomp

I had two cards compromised in two months. I quit paying at the pump. Gas stations swore they had no skimmer problems.  ::) Leads me to believe it was employees work.

Any idea where the info for your debit card was stolen from?

I believe that mine happened at a gas station too.  If so, that bothers me, because I stop by there to gas up when out on a ride.

Wasn't suppose to rain here until this afternoon.  As I was reaching for the FOB to take the C14 to work, it started raining heavily, and looks to continue for a while to come.  Weather prognosticators really don't have a clue..... tp

My wife just had her's stolen form an Old Navy at a factory shops place in San Marcos. Almost immediately it was used at a Ross store in San Antonio. Chase also caught the bogus charge within minutes. Not sure how.

If there's enough storms this year to get down the list to Nicole, please don'tthink it's a relation.
There are still sweet women out there.

I'm sure there are plenty of them there.  The best one I ever knew, I let slip away 46 years ago, and shouldn't have.  Can't live a life of regrets though.

FWIW there was a Nicole in 1998...tp

Nicole, your '98 namesake remained hundreds of miles away from land throughout its entire lifetime, and as a result, it caused no damage or deaths.  Sounds like that job you have, away from land.   About time for you to be on off days again, enjoy it.  tp

OK...  I looked at it both leaving and entering the garage today, as, since I stated earlier it rained big time on and off all day.  Off tomorrow, and I plan to take a micro cloth to the dust and ride, in spite of the yard needing mowing...  Riding is so much more rewarding than yard work.  Screw the HOA... tp,
