I would have the solution by the plate holding the trunk in one block as shown with dashed black, so being able to distance itself serves as an excellent and stabilities.
The plates as in the photos I do for any specific need, everything comes from the number to do for our bike.

Yes, Just not on the stock rack. Because the stock rack is too small, Kawasaki sells only the monolock trunk because it needs the mounting plate to augment the stock rack.

Here is a kit for GIVI monolock cases that Phil could attach to his fantastic metal rack in order to eliminate the ugly monolock mounting plate:

Nice find! If I saw that a couple weeks ago I might have bought the Kawi trunk over the Givi Maxia E55, but I think I'll be happier with the E55 anyway. At least it looks like there is a option.

TCHINKOV:  That's interesting, I didn't know this item existed!   Judging from the photos of the Kawasaki mounting plate, I'm not sure if my rack is long enough to fit this monolock mounting kit. Thanks for posting your find.

At least this is an idea how it can be done. You may wont to think of creating your own front bracket with slightly different shape (and mounting holes) that would fit the Kawasaki-GIVI E470 monolock case to your beautiful rack. I am sure your price will be better and potential byers will save the shipping cost from Australia. ($60 to Canada). I might be your first buyer.

I have no knowledge in metals whatsoever but I believe this part should not be to hard to be CNC machined from aluminum.
