Hi Guys, purchased a 09 abs c14 with 2500 miles. Few questions, seems to be more vibrations than expected through bars and even the tank, any way to reduce or look for to reduce. Also the tank puts out heat, do the insulated blanket trick work. What grade fuel do you use in your bike.
Thanks for any and all information.
Thanks Ron

I have an 09 and get no vibration, could be your tires, check for cupping. Some have used the insulated blanket to reduce the heat, I have a targa tank bra and don't feel any heat, others say it helps to keep the fuel tank full.

I always use premium, mostly 93 octane.
I don't have any vibration issues with my bike either.
Those who have used an insulating blanket under the tank have reported good results.

You need to tighten header bolts on your bike, it will help reduce vibrations!
I always use premium gas.
I'm not as "sensitive" as some on this forum.....no issues with excessive heat on my bike! 8)

Thanks Guys, living here in wisconsin some heat is welcome but would like to reduce a little bit. The vibration is probably more of a concern.

Vibration is definitely not normal. My '09 is silk smooth at any speed.
