Boomer, thanks.. I think I want to stay with the standard sized rotors.. I am not sure which calipers to use or where to get them? I live in a small community in British Columbia, Canada. Is there anything else I would need to switch to the 4 pot system? If I am going to this trouble should I go to SS brake lines?

Hi Mike,
For the switch to 4 piston front brakes you need:
Brackets
from me
Calipers (Nissin)with good pads
HONDA
CBR 900 RRW/RRX/RRY/RR1/RR2/RR3 ʻFirebladeʼ 98-03 F
VTR 1000 SPY/SP1 (SC45) 00-01 F
VTR 1000 SP-2/SP-3/SP-4/SP-5/SP-6 02-06 F
CB 1300 F1 (SC40) 01 F
Tokico's will also fit but I don't know the models.
Brake fluid
DOT4

Stainless steel brake lines are not absolutely neccessary but do improve braking performance.

Regards, Russell

Cut blanks have been ordered from laser cutters, I should have them in 5 working days at the latest.

If you want a set let me know quickly and I might be able to add them to the order.

Gentlemen,
I mailed all of your brackets this morning. Look for a plain white business envelope with clear tape stuck around the edges, it weighs about 270 grams and is fairly rigid. Australia Post says 3-10 days, my experience is 7-8 days. Please let me know when they arrive.

Thanks & regards, Russell

Glad to hear you got them, I know Boomer has got his.

Thanks for answering GeeBeav's question. I was not home yesterday as it was a public holiday for the birthday of an elderly lady in England, even though her birthday is in April.

Have your brackets arrived yet?

Hi Mike,
Glad to hear they arrived, I was getting a bit concerned. Wonder why Canada took so long?
I look forward to hearing how it all works out for everybody.

Regards, Russell.

I have the same issue with Canada; I can in fact send stuff down to your part of the globe in less time (10 days) than it takes for my packages to travel 200 miles across the border (2 weeks plus)....
