I believe these are the sameones that Projsct D sells made in the UK, I'm not the sales person I just called and asked If he could do a group buy, so he is giving $30.00 off, shipping should be between $11.00 and $15.00. Thanks jj

Don't know as I run stock tire size.
As it stands, the hugger is a tight fit with stock so I hope someone else will chime in.
Jon.

I hope so too, as I would like to know ;D ;D

The 55 is no more than .25 inch taller , it is not wider, I can't see a problem.
-
Im going to Americade and was hoping to see some overthere but something tells me they might be scarce !!

Call or e mail David at the posted #s he can answer your questions.

Called today and got one.

Anyone know if this group buy discount is still going on? I just bought an Ohlins and want to try and keep it clean... :-\
-
As the title says - ends June 18
-
Jay,
You could afford a $1000+ rear shock and now you want a deal on a item that's less than $300 (full price). ::) :P ;)
Just pull out some more of that rusty money you have in one of the several jars that are burried in your back yard and just buy the hugger. No need to beat down the guys on price, you can afford it. jk! jk! :rotflmao:
-
This reminds me, I need to unsticky this one...
-
FYI.... The group buy on the 36 month GTPP for $319 ends at the end of the month. I know just saving $20 may not be much but every penny count, for most of us.

Sorry, just habbit... :)
I did email David last night and he said he'd do free shipping for me if I want one.

I just called David and ordered up one of the carbon fiber skidmarx huggers, he gave me free shipping at least. :)

Some anal folks (like me) thought that the stock bolts are just a tad too short to mount the hugger brackets properly (the nuts may or may not get all the treads of the bolt). Here's the numbers for the same bolts only slightly longer, they work perfectly.

I asked him if he had some black bolts to give me cause I think those silver bolts don't look good, he didn't have any though. So I'll most likely be hitting the hardware store for some black bolts anyway, or painting the silver ones...
Thanks for the heads up on the bolt length C. :chugbeer:

Here's what I'm talking about J. The first pic is of the stock bolt. You can see that the nut is not getting the last bit of threads on the bolt. The second pic (cell phone, sorry) is of the longer bolt.
Those bolts are in a critical location, just any old bolts will not do.
Click on the pic and then details if you want to zoom in even closer.
