I have a ATRE, timing retard elimator. It's about $150. You have a choice of maps. I run the top gear map so the flys open using the top gear map in all the gears. You have choices of which gear map to use. It also eliminates the top speed shut off. You can feel the difference in the 60 to 85 MPR range. More torque. Fred's site shows how to install. If you don't like it you can remove it in about 20 minutes. Rick
After I installed the GiPRO ATRE, I recall some discussion about the function of timing retarding on the Connie/GTR where Fred mentioned that in fact the ATRE doesn't retard timing on our bikes...?
