I called UltimateCycle today (5 Feb 18) and asked for Peter. Mark in Finance answered and said Peter is out of town. I told Mark "I wanted to speak to Peter because I sent him an email with the required info in reference to purchasing another GTPP 36 month extended warranty". Mark said "I can take care of that, forward me the email that you sent Peter, to Finance@UltimateCycle.NET, which I did.
Mark called me back in under 5 minutes. Mark said "the price is $359.00.
When Mark said "$359", I said "I was informed by COG that the price was $393 not $359, is this the same GTPP, 36 month extended warranty but for $359, did the price go down? Mark said "Thanks for bringing up". Mark further stated "GTPP is now called KTP. It's the same 36 month policy but for $359.00, You'll see a $359 charge on your CC and the paperwork will be mailed out. I said "OK, I'll pass the new price to the COG members.
The whole process sounded the same but the only difference was the price and dealing with Mark.
Does this sound "to good to be true (the price went down), anyone else renew and get the new price?
i'm surprised about the pricing, but in all probability it's completely possible the price dropped, just as it went up a couple years ago.. not a big deal, and a nice thing, so don't complain.
Mark is Pete's left hand man, and runs all the financial end of the transactions, he's completely trusted, and a good employee, so not to worry.... you should be receiving a notice from them, with a copy of your payment receipt, within a few days, so keep a lookout. Your final paperwork and card will arrive shortly thereafter.
Also, as was mentioned, the GTPP name only, was changed, it is now called KPP, and is the exact plan as before, with some additional protections and perks that were not in the original plan back in 2008.
All in all, great protection, great price, and great dealership to do business with..... I'm so glad they have kept this up for us all since I first worked with Pete to provide it.
