Well I finally gave in and ordered suspension parts. I did like the idea of changing the internal parts of the forks to Traxxion, but the price really scared me away. So I decided that Race Tech components, aka: springs and valves will be great for my riding style. All the parts shipped to the house is less than $500. So I'm anxious to get home and try out my new ride.

So, for sporty riding, I believe my brake lever is too far to have good control of AND good throttle control.  Do these shorty's close the gap?

I have the shorty levers and love them. I had them on my bandit and it was one of the 1st things I put on my C14.

I have a shorty on my front brake but went back to the original on the clutch. It seemed too short with the large switches on the clutch side, wasn't comfortable for me.

Valve check time?

Yes valve check time. All 8 of my intake valves are at the low end, .oo5" and 4 of my exhaust are .008" Four of my valves will remain unchanged.

Next is tires and then new fork springs, valves, and seals.

Grammar police?  No way.  His posting was particularly ironic and funny (which was the purpose of my posting, pointing it out).  Sorry if that wasn't clear.  Of course, you are free to examine my 5338 other posts, none of which police grammar.

The cartoon is quite funny, however... so it was worth the time!
