Auto parts crossover for the temperature sending unit?

I need to get the bike finished ASAP because the car is going to the body shop and I didn't opt for rental car coverage. 
Its the one on the thermostat housing assembly.  Thanks.

i used a spare aftermarket automotive one i had laying around from a car gauge. see what the parts store has for aftermarket sending units.

Thanks everyone I went ahead and accepted the insurance money myself and am doing the bodywork so the rush is over.  I got the eBay version, will see what it does.
