Passenger grab bar height

Added a Corbin Trunk for the G/F's comfort and she's loves the secure feeling of backrest.
This past weekend we rode over 700 +miles r/t including Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the Dragon, she mentioned several times that now she can only touch the grab bars with her fingertips.
 
Does anyone know of a farkle to add for her to hold and feed secure?
Or an armrest to substitute on the Corbin that will fold down?

Am thrilled she enjoys riding and whatever it takes to keep it that way for as long as possible, I'll
be happy to do.

Could you loop a couple of soft ties around the rails for her to hold?

I'm also curious as to a grab rail solution. My GF who rides with me 99% of the time was not as happy with this bike as I was. Until I added a backrest and lowered pegs for her. Better now but she still misses using a grab rail.

may experience other issues if just adding height to them, like they may press against their hips, and cause discomfort.
Solution would be to widen them as they are raised, an offset so to speak.

way back in time, when I bought my C14, I did a review of a pilots backrest (which was a horrible p.o.c.) and took a picture you might find useful....
it seams that the seat actually may have been planned to have a "passenger grab strap" in place, like the old bikes of the 70's era. There are notches in the bottom edge of the pan, and also holes in the pan sub structure, that I'm sure were for that purpose... probably when they did it though, it looked hokey to the design artists, and they ditched the idea....
take a look, and think about adding a strap for the passenger's usage...

only part I'd want is the strap... ain't paying that much when you can make a robust one from nylon webbing....
