Mounting for Garmin 680
« on: June 23, 2011, 08:37:53 PM »
What type of mount is required to mount a Garmin Nuvi 680 to the bike? I have an older unit that I would like to use on the bike from time to time. I have Murph's risers and I know I can get a ball mount, but based on what I see on the Nuvi mount I would need to have some sort of adaptor to make it useable.

How about this?:

Remove the diamond base and stick it on a ball from Murph's?

Get you one of these from Murph, VERY well made and works great. You'll need to get some sorta adapter/mount specific to your GPS though.

This is what I used to mount my Garmin to the Techmount.

Here's the cradle that will fit your 680, $12 at Amazon.

That's the open cradle I use for my 765T, works great IMO!
