Switched Power
« on: May 04, 2021, 06:28:26 AM »
Good Day,

I'm looking to hardwire my GPS and was wondering if Kawasaki supplied a switched power source plug or do I have to tap in somewhere on my 18 Conny.

Thanks,

There is a (switched power) accessory lead provided. it is located below/forward of the glove compartment.
Sometimes hard to find as it is in the bundle covered by a rubber cover.

I have a 2009, and I pulled off the upper right side fairing, and tapped into
the 12v power outlet supply wire, for my radar detector.

it then goes on and off with the ignition.

The accessory lead on the left side does exactly the same thing.
