We ended up with 3" or 4" here and all of it melted today. Kirby was right- KiPass took care of everything.

Wish Kirby was here last Wed., dumped 17" at Casa Hall :-\

8" of cement like snow.  Casa 14 is once again without electricity, heat, water, cable, telephone and wireless communications of all kinds.  We went to a hotel.  Power will be back sometime this week or so.

This will be the fifth week without power in the last just under three years.  Of course as the snow was falling there was a story in the Boston Herald about a scientist changing his views on global warming beleiving now it is real.  I am thinking he might want to re-think his change in views.

Yeah I keep trying to wrap my brain stem around the idea of why our Company Meetings are being held in Newport R. I. in the middle of Feb!  :deadhorse:

Previous years have been bad enough as they were held in Chicago; least I could drive there in under two hours. How I long for the years that we held our meetings in Carefree AZ.....  :chugbeer:

Hum really have no idea......

I'll try to make the best out of the fact that my air fair is fully covered and half of my wifes is too so afterward we are going to to stay a few days in an old Salem Mass B & B and do a little witch hunting; I was there some twenty odd years ago and it has always stuck with me the fun that town radiated.

Don't count on it; just came back from a week in Vegas to which I spent 21.00 in the slots. Worked on a Gambling Riverboat long ago; no temptation whatsoever.
