They sent me an email stating their bottom dollar after doc fee was $12800.  WOW!  There are brand new 2011's that I have found for $12,500.  I have a couple leads on nice low mileage bikes.  The selection should only get better in the next month or so.

I am actually kinda partial to the 2008 and 2009.  But if the right deal came around for a 2010 or 2011 I guess I would have to think about it.  It all comes down to me being a hard headed cheapskate that refuses to finance a "toy".  So that all but excludes the 2010 and up bikes.

I tried to let him know what new 2011's are going for and he just said "that is a good deal, you should buy that one"  That dealer is just waiting for a sucker to walk through the door.

The problem is, the Connie is a big hit right now. Everybody knows what they are, and everyone wants one.

Jeremy, I just bought my 2011 3 weeks ago, and paid 13000. The only ones I found cheaper were black ones that the place in NC had and didnt want them sitting over winter. He said if he had to get me a silver he would have to be at 13500 so he could make 500. The dealer cost is 13000. He said he was loosing on the 12500 for the black ones. So since the one you are looking at has miles on it and scratches, he should be a lot lower than the 12800!! There is the black one in NJ on ebay at 11995 but he has a dealer fee of 500 so back to 12500. Havent seen any new 2011's cheaper.

Love my 09, have ABS and no linked brakes! A well spent $10k for a brand new left over model last year IMO!

I think I am gonna go with the nicely farkled 2009.  Hopefully it doesn't get sold before I get a chance to fly to Colorado.

I will be making a trip to Arkansas this Saturday to retrieve most of my farkles since the insurance probably won't give me that much for them.  Plus it should make the payment easier to deal with and take less time.  I know I probably won't accept their first offer.
