Title: Spare a thought

Please spare a thought for my mother-in-law, who had to be hospitalised after a wasp attack.

We were sitting outside, when a wasp came and sat on her nose. Fortunately it didn't sting her, as I was too quick with the spade.

X-rays reveal nothing broken, but she has 2x black eyes. She was released a few hours later.

With nothing broken it means that you didn't swing the shovel hard enough.

I'm guessing that most of the damage to her face was done when you hit the wasp that second time...
