Last year I worked one of the corners for the World Superbike races at Laguna Seca. I was a flagger at turn 5. This year the races are on July 7-9, 2017. As a worker you get free camping, lunch each workday, dinner on Saturday night and $210 compensation. They are still looking for additional workers for this year's races.
If you are interested, go to the U.S. Auto Race Marshall's web site (www.usarm.org (http://www.usarm.org)) and apply for membership ($25) and to work at the race.
You also get a close up view of some of the most awesome motorcycle racing in the U.S.

Wow, that would be fun!

Hmmmm... wonder if there is a similar deal for MotoGP at COTA.

There probably is something available for MotoGP at COTA. Some of the people who worked last year had done other races, and the MotoGP race used to be at Laguna Seca. I worked the MotoGP there in 2010.

I might have to look into that. I'm there every year since 2014 anyway and I wouldn't mind being closer to the action.

Cool, thanks! I would only be interested in MotoGP anyway.
