PBS show-"Rough Cut with Tommy Mac" Patriotic episode
« on: October 23, 2012, 11:16:08 AM »
Flipping through the channels one day I came upon a PBS show, a woodworking show that didn't include master carpenter Norm, Tommy Mac, he sounds New England, probably Boston, its interesting, and different. Anyhow, this show concerned him making a flag presentation case for a U.S. flag. When it was finished, a group of older veterans, from each branch of the service, in uniform introduced themselves and as a team, folded the flag. Nice. For some reason its stuck with me as many things like that do as I wear a uniform too and I felt the need to comment on it as Veterans day is coming up and I'm taking my dad and brother-in-law to breakfast. This is my other brother-in-law, not the idiot. They've repeated it a few times, but even if you don't catch this episode, give him a watch, its different than Norm.
