I'm crazy about the powder coated black bits all over (swing arm, heel guard, etc) and then the gold wheels to contrast.  crazy awesome attention to detail  :D

Thanks for noticing Steve, I love the details too bro.  :) :chugbeer:

Hmm, it seems like it should knock my socks ... but it doesn't. Not sure why. I like the black wheels better with the green bodywork. Just 1 dude's opinion of course.

No worries bro, I'm still on the fence with them with the green bodywork too...  :-\

I just couldn't wait to see how they looked mounted.  ;D ;)

Sorry, Jay, gonna say no.

I don't "hate" them, and on another bike particularly a dark colour (mine?) they would probably be the goods.  But in contrast to what you have done with the rest of the bike and the extent you have gone to, it just isn't ringing right for me.  Kinda gone from totally integrated custom setup, to something that feels a bit blinged. To take it to a worse degree, might as well have put spinners on there.

Sorry, Bro.

I saw these on Facebook.
It is not ZG Green, but it is the Mopar Green used on the Challenger.

Nope...  ;) ;D

But I still like his efforts and vision, the world needs more folks going green, and anyone who brings a spare rear tire with em on a long ride is ok in my book!  8) :chugbeer:

ZG, I really like your paint job ! I am thinking about it for my bike but I would probably keep more black area.
Nonetheless, when you powder coat your wheels, that will look sick, man !

I like the Kawa European model Z1000 tourer paint job, and probably would follow the same kind of pattern.

Ya, I like the 2-tone as well Mav, I'm having a 3rd full set of bodywork done in a matte black next and plan to only mount the matte black tank, front fender, mirrors, and side case lids to start, leaving all the other pieces Kawi green just to see how it looks before installing the tail, sides, and upper...

Mix & match!

I notice in the last picture he is carrying extra fuel.  Wonder where he has been riding.  Connie has pretty decent range IMO.

I thought the same thing when I saw the spare tire.

Having spares has so many benefits!  :)

On my left mirror the paint at an edge had lifted off a bit, it's a pretty small spot but my eye would draw to it...  :-\

Long story short my paint shop has lifetime warranty, so they're going to repaint the mirror for free and I'm dropping it off tomorrow, they said they'd need about a week to completely strip it and repaint layer by layer...

So hence where the spares come in... I went ahead and pulled my right mirror off too and put on the black ones from my original bodywork set! They actually blend in pretty good with all the other black stuff, and now I'll have zero down time of riding my ZG while the green mirror get's redone!
