Back in '05 my wife found this on the internet and said it was the dog we were going to get. Notice the cage number?
They listed her as a Shepherd Collie mix but that didn't seem quite right to us so we decided that she might be a Keeshond-Shepherd mix, but whatever she is, she has a lot of Keeshond traits
When we got her home she still had the predominately black face. We had everyone put names in a hat and my grandson did the drawing and "Buffy" became Lola.
She outgrew the black face in about a year.
Took her on a road trip to Chicago for Thanksgiving and it snowed. She loved it.
She is 11 now and still jumps but not like she used to. She used to go out the back door and make three deer type leaps in series like she was trying to scare up game
or something. If she gets real excited she now does about two leaps, but it's rare. She still loves to play. I hope she'll stick around another 5 years or so at least.
