36mm carbs and zx cams.
« on: February 23, 2023, 06:53:49 PM »
So ive bought gpz 1100 carbs, factory pro jet kit for concours with 115 and 118 mains. Already have 110,120,125,135. Going with 35 pilots as zg,zx, and gpz have 35’s. Using stiffer gpz slide springs. They are considerable stiffer then the zx ones. Ive bought all the carb boots necessary for the swap. Ive got zx cams as well and adjustable cam gears. Delkevic mufflers too. I just put the 120 mains in the 32’s and what a difference. Im thinking with some cam degree tweaks to the stock cams im going to be more then happy. Might have wasted money on all these 36mm carbs and zx head with carbs. Ive posted on fb and cog so im sure most of you have seen my losts. If anyone would like to add any info to help with the 36mm setup that would be great. I dont have a wideband. Eventually ill get one so i know where i stand with the afr’s. Might end up just doing the 36mm with the zx intake and messing with the zg exhaust cam timing.
