I'm on my second Jack first one lived 17 years , the one I got now is from the Humane Society ... too hyper I was told .... just how I like them...

No such thing as too hyper in that breed.

We also have a penchant for exuberant dogs, sequentially a Basenji, a Chocolate Lab and now a Beagle. They're sometimes a pain but never dull.

I picked out a German Shepherd pup as a child , got killed chasing a squirrel as a pup,
Got another one was a great dog BUT they NEED a LOT of brushing or your house is covered
and that hip problem , had to put him down early because he had go up stairs to get into the house  :(
Had my share of Pits but the wife said NO more ,  :-X
So now Terriers , any kind of Terrier  , three at a time , always from a shelter
I have 2.5 fenced in acres , but they get out to go hunting ;)
